To strengthen our Biomechanics Team in Zurich-Kloten we are looking for a Your Responsibilities as Lab Technician Biomechanics

Prepare, conduct, and document mechanical tests according to internal procedures, SOPs, and international standards.
Analyze test results and perform basic statistical evaluations.
Prepare clear and accurate technical reports.
Support product verification and characterization activities within R&D projects.
Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory equipment.
Ensure laboratory infrastructure remains operational, reliable, and compliant.
Review, maintain, and continuously improve laboratory procedures and SOPs.
Support failure investigations using optical microscopy and, ideally, scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements in a regulated laboratory environment.
Your Profile
Degree as Dipl. Techniker/in HF/TS or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience in mechanical testing.
Experience working within interdisciplinary project teams.
Familiarity with ISO standards and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Fluent German and good English communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the medical device industry, materials science, or another regulated environment.
Experience with workshop machinery such as milling, drilling, and turning equipment.
Experience in optical failure analysis and material characterization.
Knowledge of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
