Cash and Securities Reconciliation Specialist

Your Role As Cash and Securities Reconciliation Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are entrusted with the responsible role of reconciling transactions with our custodians and cash correspondents, including monitoring of any difference identified. Become part of this important team in analyzing potential discrepancies and proactively contributing to their timely resolution to minimize the bank's risks. The exciting, international environment includes close collaboration with different areas of the bank and an overall understanding of the related operational transactions. Your Responsibilities Manage daily / weekly / monthly / annual Cash- and Securities- reconciliation processes by identifying discrepancies and allocating them to the relevant departments Reconcile physical securities and land registry extracts by physical stock taking Investigate issues, monitor open items and follow up on resolutions Coordinate special reconciliations completed by various teams within Operations Participate in the annual Audit in relation to the reconciliation process Contribute to the process improvements and automation efforts in order to support efficiency gains and operational risk mitigation Your Profile University degree in Finance / Accounting / Controlling or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education 2 - 5 years of practical experience in the field of Operations / Backoffice or Finance / Controlling; industry specific knowledge is an advantage Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Avaloq experience is an advantage Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus Your Benefits Entrepreneurial spirit in a family owned bank Central city office locations across Switzerland Above average insurance coverage fully borne by the bank Contribution to health insurance and meal allowance Global growth strategy and stable environment Competitive offering About us As a leading sustainable private bank, we offer dynamic and personalized services in investment advisory and asset management for private and institutional clients.Our success depends on the enthusiasm and commitment of our employees and we value each person with their unique technical expertise, professional qualifications and social skills.
