Purpose of the job
The
Stewarding Manager & Instructor
is responsible for leading both the educational and operational aspects of the school's stewarding function, ensuring excellence in food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and operational standards.
The role involves teaching and coaching students through theoretical and practical training in stewarding operations, HACCP, workplace safety, chemical handling, and sustainability practices. Simultaneously, the incumbent manages the stewarding team and supports kitchen, service and event operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Working closely with academic and operational stakeholders, the position ensures that industry best practices are consistently applied and that operational standards are fully aligned with the learning experience provided to students.
