What you will do
Our real estate platform is one of our most strategic growth products. To support its next stage of growth, we are looking for a Solution Architect / Teamlead Software Development to drive the technical vision, engineering excellence, and delivery across our real estate development team.
In this role, you will combine technical leadership with people management. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to evolve the product and help shape the future of Switzerland’s leading real estate marketplace.
Your responsibilities

Lead and support the engineers working on our real estate platform across two development teams

• €¢
  
Set the technical direction of the product, ensure architectural consistency and alignment across the two teams and drive the modernization of our technology stack, including the migration of existing monolithic applications towards a cloud-native architecture

Work closely with Product, Design and other engineering teams to balance feature development, technical improvements, and operational stability

• €¢
  
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and help teams resolve them

• €¢
  
Hire, coach, and develop engineers and support their professional growth

• €¢
  
Take ownership of major technical decisions and product-wide initiatives

• €¢
  
Represent engineering in discussions with Product Management and senior business stakeholders
What we expect from you

• €¢
  
Proven experience leading software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management

• €¢
  
Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic, user-facing software platforms with multiple teams contributing to the same product

• €¢
  
Strong software architecture and system design skills, with sound judgement when balancing product delivery, technical debt, and long-term platform investments

• €¢
  
Experience working closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders, paired with strong communication skills and the ability to build alignment across teams

• €¢
  
Hands-on engineering experience with the willingness to stay close to the technology and codebase, and the technical depth to support engineers when needed

• €¢
  
Experience with modern cloud-native technologies and platforms (e.g. Azure, Kubernetes); experience with .NET and React/Next.js is a plus

Experience with Agentic Coding and a strong willingness to adopt AI-assisted software development practices

Fluent in English; German is a plus
