Avionics Engineer
About the role
As a Junior Avionics Engineer, you will provide hands-on support in developing advanced avionics platforms. You will work within a dynamic team of eight, bridging the gap between hardware design and embedded software integration.
Work tasks

Hardware Design & PCB Layout
: Develop and design flight computer hardware and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using Altium or KiCad, including the preparation of manufacturing files.

Automated Test Scripts
: Write and execute test software and scripts in Python, C/C++, or Bash to validate avionics devices on Linux test benches.

Commissioning & Lab Troubleshooting
: Perform systematic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and functional testing on electronic assemblies in the lab using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Embedded Software Integration
: Install, configure, and flash embedded C/C++ software onto the developed hardware components and microcontrollers.

Flight Operations Support
: Provide hands-on assistance with flight testing preparation, system setup, and telemetry monitoring in the field.

Experience
: Hands-on hardware development experience (avionics, automotive, or robotics) within a professional corporate environment.

PCB Design
: Solid proficiency in board layout using
Altium
or
KiCad
, along with hardware troubleshooting experience.

Testing & Linux
: Experience writing scripts (
Python, C/C++, or Bash
) for automated hardware validation within a Linux environment.

Lab & Interfaces
: Comfortable using laboratory equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, JTAG) and a solid understanding of serial protocols (
CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
).

Languages & Mindset
: Fluent in
English
